AP Calculus BC covers the entire AB curriculum plus advanced topics: series (Taylor and Maclaurin), parametric and polar equations, vector functions, integration techniques (partial fractions, integration by parts) and improper integrals. The exam consists of 45 MCQs and 6 FRQs. Students also receive an AB sub-score, so even without achieving a 5 overall, an AB score of 5 is possible.
The most critical topic in AP Calculus BC is series convergence tests and Taylor series applications.
