IGCSE Biology is a Cambridge science exam covering cell biology and organization, nutrition and digestion, gas exchange and respiration, transport systems, coordination and response, reproduction, genetics and evolution, ecology and environment. Paper 4 (Extended theory) requires in-depth knowledge while Paper 6 (Alternative to Practical) assesses experimental skills and data analysis.
Achieving A* in IGCSE Biology requires strong biological diagram drawing (cell structures, organs), data interpretation and experimental design skills. TestPrep Biology tutors provide hands-on work in practical topics such as photosynthesis and respiration experiments, genetic crosses (Punnett squares) and ecological sampling methods. Strategies for correctly using mark scheme key terms ("describe" vs "explain" vs "suggest") are taught.
