What Is the GMAT Focus Edition?
The GMAT Focus Edition is the current business school admission exam administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). It consists of three sections: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Data Insights. The total test duration is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Unlike the previous GMAT format, the Analytical Writing section has been removed and replaced by the data-analysis-focused Data Insights section.
GMAT Focus Edition scores are reported on a scale of 205 to 805. The exam introduces new features such as navigating between sections and reviewing questions. How is GMAT Focus scored?

How long is the test?

GMAT vs GRE — which is preferred?
Most MBA programs accept both. Adcoms know GMAT better since it's the traditional B-school reference. Strong Quant favours GMAT; Verbal/writing focus favours GRE. Target schools' median scores should guide your decision.
How long is a GMAT score valid?
Five years. You may take the test up to 5 times in a calendar year and 8 times lifetime, with a 16-day gap between attempts.
