- Practice material. PowerPrep practice tests are free through your ETS account once registered. Question banks, vocabulary lists, and additional full-length tests are sold separately by ETS and by third-party publishers.
- Score reporting to additional schools. If you are applying to more than four programmes, the per-report charge adds up. Send a calculated list, not a hopeful one.
- Rescheduling, if your plans are not stable. Reschedule early and pay a smaller fee rather than at the last minute, when the charge is at its highest tier.
